Pembroke Property Management will prepare and submit all the documents on your behalf
Right to Manage Initiation
We work promptly and efficiently to secure your Right to Manage:
Pembroke Property Management will create your new Right to Manage company for the block, and register it with Companies House. Our Legal Services team will ensure that your company is properly constituted in accordance with the RTM regulations and the Companies Act.
We will ask two leaseholders to become directors of the new RTM company.
50% of qualifying leaseholders are needed to sign up as members of the RTM company to claim the Right to Manage. Pembroke Property Management will help you canvass the support of fellow leaseholders. We have developed tried and tested methods of generating majority support. We provide tailored correspondence for circulation to leaseholders, attend meetings and/or hold telephone conference calls to answer any queries and explain the Right to Manage.
We will serve Notices Inviting Participation, in the form prescribed by law, on all qualifying leaseholders who are not members of the RTM company
We may serve a Right to Information Notice on the landlord requesting information needed to claim the RTM, and the landlord must respond within 28 days
Pembroke Property Management go further than simply guiding you through the process, we will carry out the Right to Manage on your behalf.
“For ages we were contesting the fees that our Managing Agent were charging, they never visited the property and then tried to charge us a huge amount for major works to be carried out which we couldn’t afford. Thanks to Pembroke Property Management, we signed a few forms and a little while later, we won our case to manage our own building! Claire made it as hassle free as possible and constantly looked after our best interests, what a fantastic service! We now have peace of mind and full control of our block. Thank you very much to Claire and the team!” Mark Bowman, RTM Company Director
