Pembroke taken over the management of Medway Gate in 2018. The gardens and landscapes were in good condition. The communal areas of most blocks were in very poor condition and the decorating was overdue. There were lots of arrears and several with solicitors.
The directors of the Resident Management Company invited managing agents to tender for the management. We submitted our proposal and carried out a presentation to the directors. They were impressed with the services we provided and our plan to tackle the problems with the management of the estate.
Upon appointment, we begun issuing Section 20s to the blocks to have their internals decorated. We also carried out a survey of the whole site to identify the issues and prioritise the works required. All contracts were retendered to ensure the property owners were getting value for their service charge payments.

In 2019 Pembroke organised a Summer Fete for Medway Gate. It was fun for all the family and included face painting, a dog show, cakes, raffle, games and stalls. The proceeds raised from the games and dog show have gone to a local charity called ‘Share a Star‘. We were organising the event in to take place again in 2020 and had to postpone it due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We will organise it again when everything is back to normal.
