Tenant Acknowledgements and Responsibilities

By signing this application, I acknowledge and agree to the following conditions for keeping an animal in my flat:

1. Hygiene and Cleanliness:
   I will ensure that my animal’s waste is properly disposed of, keeping my flat clean and odour-free. I understand that odours must be contained within my flat and must not affect communal areas.
2. Noise Control:
   I will ensure that my animal does not create excessive noise that may disturb other residents. I understand that multiple complaints regarding noise may lead to the revocation of permission to keep the animal.
3. Damage Liability:
   I accept responsibility for any damage to property or furnishings caused by my animal within the flat or communal areas. I agree to cover the costs of repairs or cleaning due to any animal-related damage.
4. Common Area Access:
   I will ensure my animal remains within my flat, except when transported through communal areas in a secure carrier or on a lead. The animal will not be allowed to roam freely in shared spaces.
5. Supervision:
   I will not leave the animal alone in the flat for long periods to prevent distress and avoid disturbances.
6. Compliance with Terms:
   I understand that if I do not adhere to these terms, permission to keep the animal may be revoked, requiring the animal’s removal.
7. Administration Charge:
   I understand there is an administration charge for processing this application and it will be added to the property owner’s service charge account. (Contact Pembroke for cost)
