Applicant Acknowledgements and Responsibilities

By submitting this application, I agree to the following conditions for the relocation of the gas flue:

1. Regulatory Compliance:
   The relocation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, ensuring compliance with all applicable gas safety standards, Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations, and local authority requirements.
2. Costs and Maintenance Responsibility:
   I accept full responsibility for all associated costs, including any necessary building modifications or repairs. I will also assume all ongoing maintenance responsibilities for the relocated flue.
3. Insurance and Liability:
   I will ensure that adequate insurance is in place to cover any potential liabilities, including damages or claims arising from the relocation or operation of the flue.
4. Environmental and Safety Standards:
   I will ensure that the relocated flue does not produce excessive noise or odours and does not impact the structural integrity or appearance of the building. I understand that compliance with all building codes is mandatory.
5. Access for Inspection:
   I agree to allow access for inspection by the Landlord/Managing Agent as required, both during and after the installation. Any additional modifications requested by management will be addressed at my own expense.
6. Restoration Obligation:
   If required, I agree to remove the flue and restore the area to its original condition at the end of my lease or if instructed by the Landlord/Managing Agent.
7. Revocation of Consent:
   I understand that if I fail to adhere to these terms, permission may be revoked, requiring immediate removal or repositioning of the flue.
8. Administration Fee:
   I understand there is an administration fee, and it will be added to the property owner's service charge account. (Contact Pembroke for fee cost).
